Sylvia Chen Kroesen, PA-C

Hi! I’m Sylvia Chen and I’m blessed to be able to do a job that I love! I have been an Ob/Gyn Physician Associate for over 20 years and am grateful that half of these have been together with Dr. Rodriguez. My passion is taking care of women throughout their life as they go through the complex physiological changes of adolescence, the reproductive years, peri-menopause, and post-menopause. I see patients for all different gynecological reasons: from first time paps to contraceptive care to bleeding problems to menopause management.  I can also perform most office procedures including biopsies, lasers, pellet implants, IUD and Nexplanon insertions, and colposcopies for abnormal pap findings. Patients tell me that they like how I really listen to them and how I explain everything during the visit. Their review comments say that I’m extremely knowledgeable yet still personable, gentle, and kind. My favorite thing about working at HER, Inc. is a tie between the people (the many patients I feel connected to, my supportive staff and colleagues, and my visionary, kind-hearted boss) and HER, Inc.’s philosophy of being a woman’s advocate and growing the practice eventually into a Women’s Wellness Center in which not only will we take care of a woman’s body, but we will also nourish her mind and soul!

PA Sylvia lives locally in Torrance with her husband and tween boy-girl twins. She enjoys working out at the beach, deep tissue massages, spending time with family/friends, and cheering on the UCLA Bruins and Los Angeles Lakers!
